Hi,

I am doing some class work.

On the subjects computer there is a programme called bitCrypt. I managed to find an attached image inside an email (bmp image). I also deciphered some text that was sent between two people asking what is the password and an email back stating what the password is.

My question is when I look at bitCrypt, even though I know the password I would still need to know the hash, cipher and key mode. Is it possible to see the text behind the image using other software?

I have searched on the internet but can't find anything.

Hope somebody can help.
Thanks
