I am closing in on finishing my paralegal degree, part way through I found my self fantasying about the money and enjoymnet in CF. I have always had a fondness for technology and thought combining the two (the legal aspect and the computer) would be an ideal career. I think what really set me on this path was working for the Public Defender's office, they paid the computer forensic expert $23,000 for a three day period. I just want to be able to do something I enjoy while making a good living. My question is can an average person such as myself grasp the concept if I take the course? I am currently enrolled into a Computer Network Security degree starting this fall at a local university.

It would be a LONG time before you made it to those rates, if you ever made it to those rates. It takes quite a while to build a reputation as an expert and one mistake can undo it all.
