I recently completed my junior year as a computer science major/psychology minor. I have recently become interested in the computer forensics side of things. My question is, is it possible to get into this field with the major/minor I am completing? Also any advice on how I would go about this would help.

Thank you for your time!

Yes.

Finish your degree. For almost everyone forensics is not an entry level field.

On the civilian side get some experience in the general computer field. Then get involved with computer security, move into computer forensics/incident response, get trained, be an examiner.

On the LE side, go to the Academy, do your time on patrol, watch for an opening in forensics, get trained, be an examiner. Or as a civilian on the LE side, get computer experience, get experience in security and forensics, watch for an opening in forensics, get trained, be an examiner.
