Does anyone happen to know of any good literature that contains info on analysis of file systems such as NTFS or HFS? I have a copy of Brain Carriers "File System Forensic Analysis" but was looking for a secondary source.

Hi JTSink,

Brian Carriers "File System Forensics Analysis" is THE source at the moment. "Forensic discovery" by Dan Farmer and Wietse Venema goes into Unix file systems more in depth. You can download it for free at their website.

.porcupine.org/forensics/forensic-discovery/ (add the w w w).

Cheers,

Chris
